Purchased (Kindle)The Lightning Thief by Rick RiordanThe Assassin and the Pirate Lord by Sarah J. Maas------------------------------------------------------------------Maas's novella was so, so good. Seriously. It was amazing.
What books did you get this week?
Have you read The Lightning Thief before, Lea? Or is this your first time? I only ask because I'm still working on the series (just finished book 2 a month ago), so I'm a newbie to the Percy fanbase lol.
ReplyDeleteThe Percy Jackson books are really good!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!

I want to read the Percy Jackson series soooo bad! I have the first two books in the spin off series on my massive TBR bookcases but as with so many of my books I haven't gotten to them yet. Happy reading!

I saw the Percey jackson books at the bookstore the other day, but I still need to read (start and finish) the HP series..so...I'm going to start with HP> ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the Percy Jackson series though it did take me awhile to get into the first book for some reason. Now I am a huge fan of Rick Riordan's books.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard of The Assassin and the Pirate Lord but I love the title!
The Percy Jackson series is amazing! I hope that you enjoy them :)
ReplyDeleteYou'd better go ahead and purchase the rest of the Percy Jackson books. It's an absorbing series. I read the first one aloud to my class--and the rest on my own. Addictive!

Now this is more like it. Two books. Exactly what I got which is a perfectly normal amount for one week. I've seen people listing 20 30 books! the Assassin and the Pirate Lord sounds interesting.

First off, you haven't read The Lightening Thief?!? It's so much fun and extremely addicting! You probably need to go ahead and buy the rest of the series because once you start you won't want to stop! Oooo I actually just bought the Assassin and the Pirate Lord! I can't wait to read it and I can't wait till Throne of Glass comes out!

You've got to read the Lightning Thief. It has to be amazing if Gregory stayed up to 2 am reading it. It was like the twilight zone. I'll have to check out the Assassin and Pirate Lord. That sounds awesome!

cool books. I'm going to be reading the lightning thief very, very soon.
ReplyDeleteI have The Lightening Thief too, but I've not read it yet. I've heard the series is amazing! I should get on that. I love fantasy!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the whole Percy Jackson series, but I did read the first one. I saw Rick Riordan speak a few months ago, and he was fantastic - great sense of humor and he definitely made Greek and Roman mythology accessible for 10 year old kids.
ReplyDeleteGreat set! I really need to read Riordan's books.
