I've been wanting to try A Wizard of Earthsea. I've heard Ursula Le Guin's books are amazing. I have read Princess of the Midnight Ball which I liked. Jessica Day George is good at writing fairy tales retold.

Hi Lea! I love your choices this week. I've always been in love with Ursula LeGuin and I haven't read A Wizard of Earthsea yet - do let me know what your thoughts are about the book. I also like that you have Alan Moore's book (V for Vendetta) - I have his Watchmen, but I haven't gotten around to finishing it yet. And of course, Mark Twain is Mark Twain - Huckleberry Finn is one of my favorite books when I was young. :)

I haven't heard of any of these apart from the mark twain. I may have to check out 'haunted destiny' though. it looks good.

I've been wanting to try out Angelfall! Sounds really interesting. I love the cover of Princess of the Midnight Ball---that determined expression she has! Have it, still need to read it, though.

I'd quite like to read V For Vendetta - people say it's much better than the film, and it's one of my favourite films so hopefully I would enjoy it too. I hope you'll share what you think of it.

I LOVE the movie V for Vendetta as well! One of my all time favorites. I haven't read the graphic novel yet, but my roommate owns it, so I need to borrow it!

Also, good luck with your second week of school! Here's hoping both of us will get our posts written up and scheduled this week! Lol.
