The Queen's Library (38)

SLIDE by Jill Hathaway (Kindle freebie)
THE PECULIAR by Stefan Bachman (free audiobook from sync)
OLIVER TWIST by Charles Dickens (free audiobook from sync)
DARE YOU TO by Katie McGarry (for review from amazon vine)

My Weekly Recommendation

What books did you get this week?

The feature is inspired by Pop Culture Junkie's This Week In Books, The Story Siren's In My Mailbox, and Mailbox Monday. The Queen's Library is a way for me to feature books that I add to my bookshelves and a place to post my weekly recommendations. This is not a new meme, but merely an adjusted feature that is better suited to my blog and needs.

  1. Slide was a so-so read for me; I enjoyed the murder mystery but the characters got under my skin at times. I'm excited to read Dare You To! The Moon and More also looks pretty cute; I love the new covers on all her books! Thanks for sharing. :D

    1. I've heard a lot of mixed thoughts about SLIDE...but, it's free, so I figured I'd snag it.

DARE YOU TO and THE MOON AND MORE are both really good! And I agree about Dessen's new covers, they're fantastic!

  4. You recommend The Moon and More? I got a copy of this for review and I haven't been particularly interested in cracking it open. Why do you recommend it?

  5. Slide is a really great thriller type read, so I hope you enjoy it. And seeing Dare You To has reminded me I still need to read it, as I adored Pushing the Limits. Happy reading! :)

  6. I was excited to get The Peculiar because I've heard really good things! And it sounds very creative. I'm pretty sure I got Oliver Twist in last year's SYNC downloads though. That was a good listen.

  7. Love seeing Oliver Twist on your list-it seems so random among the YA titles but it is a great classic and should be fun to hear.
