Waiting on Wednesday (times two)

WOW is hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine

The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter
Release: April 19th, 2011
Summary:
It's always been just Kate and her mom--and now her mother is dying. Her last wish? To move back to her childhood home. So Kate's going to start at a new school with no friends, no other family and the fear her mother won't live past the fall.

Then she meets Henry. Dark. Tortured. And mesmerizing. He claims to be Hades, god of the Underworld--and if she accepts his bargain, he'll keep her mother alive while Kate tries to pass seven tests.

Kate is sure he's crazy--until she sees him bring a girl back from the dead. Now saving her mother seems crazily possible. If she succeeds, she'll become Henry's future bride, and a goddess.

If she fails...

Can we just fast-forward to April? Anyone got a time machine? ;)

And the other book I'm waiting on (but doesn't have a summary):

Undercurrent by Tricia Rayburn - due out in July.

What are you waiting on?

PS: Sorry for the lack of posts this week - I've got Midterms (and I'm sick...gotta love the timing) from today until next Tuesday, but the blog should hopefully get a couple posts going before then!

  7. Love these covers! I totally want to get the paperback version of Siren. Don't really care for the hardback cover. I've been putting off reading it just to have the paperback cover. Undercurrent is ethereal, as well. I feel like I'm actually standing there. Can't wait to read The Goddess Test!

  14. Wow, two awesome sounding books! The Goddess Test I haven't heard much about, but it sounds really good. I love books that use Greek mythology. And you have me intrigued with Undercurrent. I want to know what it's about! Anyway, nice picks this week.
