Update and The Maze Runner Twitter Party

UPDATE

Firstly, I'm FINALLY back from my blogging break! I had a crazy first semester of grad school, and it's nice to have some relaxation time. Plus, that crazy 1-hour oral exam for my graduate program (where I had to read 154 works and take the exam without notes)? I passed! So happy that is over, because that took over all of my free time. It will be so nice to finally be able to read for fun, instead of for school.

I'll be slowly easing back into blogging over the next couple weeks and catching up on commenting this weekend.

I saw this in theaters, and trust me, the film is just as thrilling and exciting as the book. There are some book-to-film changes, but I liked the ones that were made. I'm not sure if I'll be at the twitter party, since it will be difficult to get my hands on the movie before Friday, but I'll try! It's bound to be fun!

Before the Split” Blog Tour (click for tour info): 

To honor National Domestic Violence Awareness month, author Swati Avasthi is combining a blog tour for her debut novel, Split, with a fundraiser for Family Violence Prevention Fund.  She’ll be on twenty-six blogs with contests, cut scenes, and guest posts about Split and will donate $1/comment with a goal and cap of $250.  If she receives 250 comments, she’ll double her donation.  She has a lot of fund raising help from more than 40 agents, editors and authors who have donated personalized books, memberships, and critiques for an online auction.  Follow the tour, get stuff you want, and help out a great cause all at once. 

I hope you all are keeping up with the tour! And regarding the novel, go buy it. It is amazing. 

And in other news, I'm not entirely certain how well I'm going to do this week regarding blog posts. One of my family members is very ill, so I've been a lot busier than usual and haven't had the time to finalize reviews and whatnot. To anyone who has emailed me in the past two weeks, I can assure you that I will get back to you as soon as I possibly can.

Hey everyone!

I had some reviews lined up this week, but then at the last minute I decided not to post them, because I still need some thinking time for them (my brain hasn't been working lately...I blame midterms). However, you can expect to see them next week.

Keep a good eye on the blog this Wednesday (Saint Patrick's Day--also my birthday! :P), because I'll be starting my 300 Follower's contest then, and you'll have a chance to win a signed arc of Before I Fall, as well as quite a few other books and swag goodies! (and yes, it's international)

Contest Updates and News

Heya everyone!

I hope all of your weeks are going well so far. :)

All right, so my Comments=Love Contest is sucking pretty badly, but I'll give it another week to get going and if it still looks like it's going downhill, I'll postpone it for another time.

BUT I did notice that I keep getting followers! Once we hit 100, I'll be having a 100 followers contest!

I'm already super excited, and trying to figure out what the prize(s) should be! So stay tuned for that! I know I can't wait...
