  1. Just finished Between Shades of Gray and I agree that it is a must-read. I think Daughter of Smoke and Bone is next on my list, since I got so many gift cards to book stores.

Yay for an epic book year, and here's to another one in 2012! I've mades some lists too of my faves: http://busyteacher.wordpress.com/

  2. I loved a lot of these. I read Delirium in 2010 an ARC so I may not put it on my 2011 list. I loved Divergent and it is my favorite book of 2011. Across the Universe and Between Shades of Gray are also among my favorites for this year. There were a lot of excellent books this year! I still need to read some (Daughter of Smoke and Bone and Legend). Great list!

  5. So many good books. Just finished A Million Suns and, while reading it, remembered how much I loved Across the Universe. Like your "most surprising" list! So fab when a book surprises you.

  7. Great list of so many I enjoyed! Blood Red Road turned out great once I got over the grammar/language thing.

  8. Great list! Completely agree about Delirium, Divergent, and Across the Universe. Blood Red Road and Daughter of Smoke and Bone are atop my pile to be among the first read in 2012. Also, I can't wait to meet Cas and Anna from Anna Dressed in Blood. They sound like great characters. Between Shades of Gray... yes, I'll need to read that one too. It sounds like it'll probably be a heartbreaking, impactful read.
