What was one of the best books you read in 2010?
*Reviews have vanished from my Drafts, so I'll be re-reviewing them.
I love all the list. And totally will continue to read Matched after this.Happy New Year!
ReplyDeletegosh, i really loved nightshade too! i really want to read stork!
ReplyDeleteNightshade was awesome!!! Matched is still underneath my bed :( Got to read it soon!!!
ReplyDeleteI've been hesitant on Bright Young Things but I kind of secretly want to read it :)
Great list.
There are a bunch on your list that I loved, too...especially Hex Hall. There are also a bunch that I still need to read.
ReplyDeleteI love looking at lists like this! I just finished Matched and thought it was wonderfully written as well. And there are a lot of books there that I haven't read yet.
ReplyDeleteI'm super thrilled that my book's on your list, especially as I think it's the only British book there. And even more excited that Ty gets to share the Best Male Main Character! Looking at the names on your list, I think my next book has to have a one word title beginning with 'S'...
ReplyDeleteWow. I'm very honored to have made your list. Katla, for her part, is highly amused! Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteAmazing choices!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with a lot of those! Especially with Matched... Condie's writing is amazing. I love her writing (and her, of course). She's so vivid and in detail when she describes the society! It's awesome talent and ability.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Thanks for putting Split on your list!! What cracks me up is I did a 200+ title search I did when the original title "Gravediggers" was rejected. Guess what was on it? "Exit Strategy". No kidding. I laughed when I saw "Exit Strategy come out and on your list, we're put next to each other. Giggle.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely have to read matched! I see it everywhere!
ReplyDeleteNot too many people have read the Molly Fyde books but I really liked the first two books so will look out for your review of it.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of the books in your top 10, but they all sound good and most of them are on my wishlist! I definitely agree with you with StClair as best BFF!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you about Stork! I freaking loved that book - and I was so surprised about how great it was! :)
ReplyDeleteI agree about Matched. :) Adding lots of the books on your list to my wishlist. Thanks for the recommendations!
ReplyDeleteO boy do I want Stork :)
ReplyDeleteI want all of these books. I wished I had a magical wand (like HP) to get all of these books on my doorstep tomorrow. Wishful thinking, I know! ;)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely some of my top picks Great list
ReplyDeleteOnly one I read on this list is Nightshade. I know. I'm such a noob. But all these books are sure great books. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBtw! I awarded you with the Stylish Blogger Award:http://unputdownablebookies.blogspot.com/2011/01/i-have-been-honored-with-stylish.html
