    I haven't read New World yet, but have it on my list to read. Battle Royale's supposed to be an inspiration for many of the YA dystopias now out, especially Hunger Games, which sounds interesting!
    I'm enjoying his The Lover's Dictionary, but didn't realise he also wrote YA. Cool!

    I wanted to read Battle Royale too but didn't finish. I think the translation was a little weird and threw me off. Hope you get to it!
    And New World's a nice start the the Chaos Walking trilogy, which is awesome btw!

    When I heard that The Hunger Games was very much like Battle Royale, I went out and rented the movie. Very violent. I'm curious to hear how you'll find it if you can find the time to finish it!

    Patrick Ness is absolutely my favorite writer of the moment. I hadn't heard anything about THE NEW WORLD, so I'll have to check it out! BATTLE ROYALE is long, but it's supposed to move pretty fast, I think. I love the movie!
