  1. These all look great! I don't read many contemps next time I'm in the mood for one, I'll be sure to keep this list in mind because sadly the only one I've read is Before I Fall (which I loved)! I have read a few of AS King's other books and really enjoyed them. Some contemps that I really loved were Anna and the French Kiss, Entangled by Cat Clarke, Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E Smith, and Theory of Everything by Kari Luna, and Orchards by Holly Thompson.

  2. Fantastic list! I liked The Fault in Our Stars and Before I Fall and loved Speak. Of course Sarah Dessen's novels are excellent too. I have heard wonderful things about We Were Liars and I am looking forward to picking it up.

My list would include Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

  3. Awesome list! We chose the same topic (great minds think alike) and have some of the same books on our list-- Truth About Forever and Fault in Our Stars. I have been dying to read Book of Broken Hearts, Sky is Everywhere and Speak. I have had Speak on my shelf for a long time and I need to stop putting it off. I also am looking forward to reading We Were Liars next month!

  6. Before I Fall made my list, too... but my list was paranormal! That book can go in either category, really. And it's one of my all-time favourites (in any genre).

  7. Contemporary has slowly become one of my favorite genres to read. It's funny because just a few years ago I would have said I didn't even like contemp. The Fault In Our Stars & Jellicoe Road were both amazing! Two great contemps that I've read recently are Leap of Faith and Better Off Friends =)

  13. Eeek I haven't read ANY of these!! Man, that's embarrassing. Contemporary just isn't my strong suit. But you definitely seem to know your shiz when it comes to contemps, so I should try to work off this list! Thanks, Lea!
